CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Several hundred participants turned out Saturday for the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone DIY Carnival.

The event was in honor of Month of the Military Child for April, featuring more than 20 community vendors offering fun activities for children and families. There was a bouncy house, magic show, face painting, games, prizes, a dunking booth, and a whole lot more.

Meghan Williams, outreach director for the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone, said it was the first time for their carnival.

“We got tired of doing everyday resource fairs that were always the same. I thought we could spruce it up a little bit and ask our community partners to make it a do-it-yourself carnival game and join us, and it’s turned out amazing. So many people stepped up, it’s really been a communitywide effort for this one,” Williams said.
