FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – Two returns this weekend and two more over the next ten days will bring hundreds more 3rd brigade soldiers home to Fort Campbell.
More than 600 troops are returning from deployment in support of contingency operations in Afghanistan.
The soldiers are from multiple battalions of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team “Rakkasans.”
About troops returned home Friday. That will be followed by returns Sunday, Wednesday, and Tuesday, October 20.
