CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Hundreds of volunteers joined in to help Clarksville Feeds the World, a new outreach initiative out to pack 500,000 meals to send to those in need around the globe. By the end of the day, they met the ambitious goal.

Among the volunteers were groups from Mosaic Church, LifePoint Church, Clarksville Fire Rescue and APSU football, tennis and softball teams, plus many more.

Organizers also collected items to pack the shelves of the local soup kitchen Loaves & Fishes.
