CLARKKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Join Southeastern Avian Research, Friends of Dunbar Cave, Warioto Audubon and the staff of Dunbar Cave at the 3rd annual Hummingbird and Butterfly Festival.

The festival will be held Saturday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park, located at 401 Old Dunbar Cave Road.

Guests can enjoy hummingbird banding demonstration, guided hikes, pollinator gardening tips, children’s arts and craft activities, and more.

The event is free and pen to the public. Visitors are encouraged to pack a lunch and stay for a day full of activities. Parking is limited and no shuttle service is available this year, so plan to arrive early and car pool if possible.

Door prizes will be awarded each hour begging at 10 a.m., but you must be present to win.
