CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County is in serious need of dry cat food donations.

The organization posted a plea on Facebook Monday. “In 2014, our pet food bank distributed nearly 40,000 lbs. of dry pet food & litter to pet owners and rescue organizations in need, and it never fails…we always struggle to keep dry cat food in stock,” the post said.

Donations can be dropped off anytime during office hours: M/T/F/Sat 9 a.m.-2 p.m. or Wed/Thurs 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at 940 Tennessee Avenue.

Amazon Prime shoppers can shop for donations from home

The organization says bags that are 15 pounds or less work best, especially for clients who are elderly or disabled.
