CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Operation Honor is coming up next week, providing food, toys and essentials to active-duty military, veterans and their families.

In this week’s Clarksville’s Conversation, Katie Gambill and Charlie Koon chat with organizer Joe Maynard about the need for the program and the difference it can make for struggling military families.

Operation Honor will be Wednesday, Feb. 2, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 321 N. Spring St. Registered individuals and families will be able to pick up from 10 a.m.-noon by presenting their vouchers.

Anyone not registered will be able to get items, while supplies last, starting at noon. All participants will need to show a DoD ID (active duty, retiree, dependent), VA ID, DD-214 or state-issued ID showing veteran status.
