CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police are investigating an arson case following a house fire that started by fireworks.
The house fire occurred in the 700 block of Ford Street on June 29th around 10 p.m. and the homeowners said they were inside when they heard fireworks hit the front door just prior to the front porch area catching fire.
The homeowners were able to get out before the flames reached the interior of the house.

The homeowners were not injured but their home is a total loss.
