CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A house caught fire off Tylertown Road in northeast Clarksville on Monday, damaging homes on both sides.
At about 3:17 p.m., Clarksville Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to the fire on Fox Tail Drive and arrived to see heavy fire coming from the back and sides of the house. By 3:39 p.m., the fire was under control, and by 4:30 p.m., the fire was fully extinguished, according to CFR spokesperson Codie Kunstmann.




The homeowners have been contacted, and no one was in the residence at the time of the fire, Kunstmann said. No injuries have been reported.
The two neighboring houses sustained some damage to their siding due to the close proximity of the residences. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Responding CFR units included Engine 11, Ladder 9, Tanker 1, Rescue 9, Ladder 10, Rescue 10, Squad 1, Ops 2, District Chief 3 and Battalion Chief 2.
