CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A fire destroyed a house in north Clarksville Saturday morning.
At about 10:19 a.m., Clarksville Fire Rescue was dispatched to the house in the 700 block of Willard Road. Firefighters arrived to see flames coming from the roof, according to CFR.

Two people and a dog escaped without injury. The fire is believed to have started from a wood burning stove.
As of 11 a.m., the fire was under control and firefighters were extinguishing hot spots. Fire investigators were on the way to the scene.
Battalion 2 crews from Stations 5, 6 and 1 responded.
