CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A house off Dover Road was heavily damaged in a fire on Halloween night.

At around 7:13 p.m. Friday, Clarksville Fire Rescue was dispatched to a house fire on Bridgette Drive, according to Clarksville Fire Rescue. When firefighters arrived, everyone was out of the home, and there were flames coming from the side and back of the house.

“Defensive attack began followed by offensive interior attack where crews were able to open up the ceiling to get to the fire in the attic,” CFR reported. The fire was under control at 7:39 p.m. and out at 7:45.

“The siding of the neighboring home was affected by exposure, but crews worked quickly to ensure minimal damage,” CFR reported.

There were no injuries reported. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist with the displaced family of two adults and three children.
