CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A house was damaged in a fire Friday evening in north Clarksville, but firefighters quickly brought it under control, containing damage to the garage.
At 6:05 p.m., Clarksville Fire Rescue was dispatched to Cobblestone Lane near the state line with reports that the garage was on fire. Upon arrival, all residents were out of the house, and Engine 7 confirmed flames and smoke were visible, CFR reported. Crews quickly knocked down the fire.
The fire was called under control at 6:30 p.m. and confirmed out at 6:41.
CFR was able to contain the fire to just the garage. No injuries were reported. The American Red Cross has been contacted. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Responding were CFR Engine 7, Ladder 10, Rescue 10, Ladder 6, Squad 1, Ops 2, District 2 and Battalion 3.
