Update, 3 p.m.: The family cat was found alive in the house. He was tucked away in a closet on the second floor, Rios said.
Most of the second floor was destroyed in the fire.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A house off Trenton Road was in flames Sunday night.
At about 10 p.m., the fire was reported on Sequoia Lane, according to Clarksville Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Michael Rios.

No one was home at the time, and there were no injuries.
The entire second floor of the house is gone, Rios said.
The cause of the fire wasn’t yet known Monday morning, he said. Investigators were on the scene, which is off Trenton Road in St. Bethlehem.
