CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Downtown Commons’ Downtown at Sundown Concert Series continues this Friday at 7 p.m. at 215 Legion Street.
This event offers a night of free music and fun. Allman Brothers tribute band, Hotlanta, headlines the concert. Be transported back in time to the early 70s with music starting at 7 p.m.
Food and shopping vendors will be available along with Golly G’s. Beer and other beverages will be for sale for by the featured non-profit, Bikers Who Care.
Chairs and blankets are welcome. No pets, coolers, smoking/vaping or outside alcohol is allowed on site.
Street closures will begin at 3 p.m. Friday on Main Street from Second Street to Third Street.
“Last year’s series was so amazing that we added six additional shows to our lineup!” said Paula Atkins, Downtown Commons Event Planning Manager. “We are excited to be able to offer a place where everyone can gather and enjoy free entertainment. Downtown is the place you want to be when the sun goes down.”
Downtown @ Sundown Concert Series will take place the first and third Fridays of the month through October. Be sure to visit the Downtown Commons’ Facebook and website to stay up to date on all events.
Monica from Rewind 94.3 will emcee the evening.
Get downtown the first and third Friday of the month May through October from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. for great music and beer. Local sponsors and artisans will be available with handmade or homemade items and sponsor goodies. Golly G’s Coffee, Ice Cream & Sweets – Downtown Commons and other food vendors will be offering amazing eats and an inviting atmosphere.
Bands start at 7:00 PM, everyone is invited to come early, and bring family, friends and their own chairs and blankets. Please leave coolers and pets at home.
