CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service is calling for a slight chance of strong to severe storms Thursday afternoon into the evening with the main threats being damaging straight-line winds and large hail.
Scattered storms will continue into the weekend on Friday and Saturday with muggy conditions and above normal high temperatures into the low 90’s and heat index values in the mid to upper 90’s.
No storms are forecast for Sunday but it will continue to be hot.
Everyone is advised to use caution and avoid heat-related illnesses.
