CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – ESPN Clarksville joins Bojangles in recognizing Chris Horton as the Bojangles APSU Athlete of the Week from Austin Peay State University.
Horton and the Govs basketball team recently celebrated their victory as OVC Tournament Champions with a final score of 83-73 over UT Martin.
Senior center Horton was temporarily injured early in the game, but rallied two minutes later.
After the game, he was named the OVC Tournament MVP.
Horton and the Govs will now head to the NCAA Tournament later this month.
