HOPKINSVILLE, Ky (CLARKSVILLENOW) – During a check presentation Wednesday at the Pennyrile Area Development District (PADD) Office in Hopkinsville, members of the Hoptown Half Marathon & 5K committee donated $1,000 to the Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Present at the event were Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tab Brockman, Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer’s Co-Chairs Alan Toliver and Cindy Hancock, Greater Kentucky-Southern Indiana Alzheimer’s Association Chapter Special Events Manager Lisa Schaefer, Hoptown Half & 5K Race Director Korey Raymond, City of Hopkinsville Marketing and Events Coordinator Chris Jung and Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Programs Coordinator Toby Hudson.
In order to accommodate the Hoptown Half & 5K event date, The Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer’s agreed to move its own date to one day later, paving the way for a successful weekend for both groups.
