HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Hopkinsville Police Officer has been charged with official misconduct after an investigation by Kentucky State Police (KSP).
In September, KSP’s Special Investigations Branch received a complaint from executives with the Hopkinsville Police Department. The complaint alleged that 34-year-old Daniel Gray, a patrol officer for Hopkinsville PD, had engaged in official misconduct with a Hopkinsville citizen while on duty.
A press release from KSP did not specify what the official misconduct consisted of.
After a two month investigation, KSP detectives decided to arrest Gray, a nine year veteran of Hopkinsville PD.
On Monday, November 20, Gray was booked into the Christian County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
A booking photo of Gray was not available at the time of this release.
