CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Gateway Chamber Orchestra has announced Pamela Holz as President of its new Guild.
The Gateway Chamber Orchestra Guild will serve as the primary fundraising arm of the orchestra, which is made up of both musician-faculty members of Austin Peay State University and accomplished musicians from the Clarksville-Nashville region.
“Mrs. Holz has a contagious enthusiasm, and we’re grateful she’s agreed to service as Guild president,” said orchestra board member Debbie Winters.
Holz, Communications Coordinator at Source Chiropractic, is also an educator and a writer with a deep appreciation for the arts. A firm believer in the power of music, Mrs. Holz is passionate about supporting the Gateway Chamber Orchestra, which she calls “an amazing treasure.” Showcasing the caliber of the music produced by this orchestra and uplifting their activities will be her focus as The Guild President.
“Gregory Wolynec does a fantastic job of directing this incredibly talented group of musicians. I am thrilled to be a part of helping to build community awareness of the GCO,” said Holz.
The Gateway Chamber Orchestra is quickly emerging as one of America’s leading ensembles. Conducted by Wolynec, the GCO specializes in the programming of masterworks of the past and present.
