Update, 6:25 p.m.: Christian and Todd Counties in Kentucky are under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 7 p.m.
Update, 5:50 p.m.: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for southeastern Montgomery County, along with central Dickson County and northern Cheatham County.
The National Weather Service warning is in effect until 6:15 p.m.

At 5:48 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northwest of Dickson, moving northeast at 50 mph with possible 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
“Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building,” the NWS said.
“Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.”
