FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) — A national organization that assists families of service members says 500 military families will receive holiday meal kits on Tuesday near Fort Campbell.
Operation Homefront and Wal-Mart are holding the event in Clarksville for about six hours.
The group says the meal kits include all the grocery items necessary for a full holiday meal.
Operation Homefront began in 2002 and leads more than 2,500 volunteers.
