CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A pair of Nashville songwriters will be featured at the Lyric Songwriter Event Thursday, June 15 at Clarksville Marina’s Freedom Point.
The event, held in conjunction with the Tuckessee Outdoor Expo, features Wynn Varble, who wrote “Have You Forgotten” by Darryl Worley, “I’m a Little More Country Than That” for Easton Corbin, as well as hits for Garth Brooks, Montgomery Gentry, and Brad Paisley.
Varble will be joined by songwriter Joe West whose songs include “American Ride” by Toby Keith, “Without You” by Keith Urban and “Right Back Atcha” by Tim McGraw.
The two will perform these songs and more and share the stories behind them at the song writers’ event. A portion of the proceeds will go to support The Warrior Initiative.
