CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The residents of Dog Hill Historic District in downtown Clarksville will host their annual ‘Illuminating Dog Hill’ holiday event.
The public is invited to visit the district on the evening of Saturday, December 21 to enjoy the candlelit luminaries that will be on display from 5 p.m. -7 p.m.
The Dog Hill Historic District includes the area of Munford Avenue, First, Union, Madison and Second Streets.
Residents stage the event to “illuminate” the importance and value of this unique, historic neighborhood.
Visitors may drive through the area, but it is suggested that they park in the county lot at the corner of South Second and Union Streets and enjoy the display on foot.
