CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Kiwanis Club of Hilldale has completed their seventh year of donating Easter baskets to the Department of Children Services Foster Care Program.

This year, the Kiwanis Club of Hilldale, along with the Service Leadership Programs (Chapel Hill Christian Academy K-Kids, Builder’s Club, and Key Club, Clarksville High Key Club, Montgomery Central High Key Club, Middle College Key Club and West Creek High Key Club) donated 180 Easter baskets to DCS. One new addition to our baskets this year were cinch sacs. These are functional to carry Easter items or personal belongings in the future.

Along with DCS receiving baskets and bags, 40 Easter bags went to the Irene Center for Hope to help with the Families in Transition program, and 40 Easter bags went to the Armed Services YMCA.

The Kiwanis Club of Hilldale is a local organization that serves our community through volunteering time and energy into the children in our community. They meet on Thursdays at 331 Union Street Suite E. You can find more information at http://www.facebook.com/hilldalekiwanis.
