CLARKSVILLE, TN – This time of year, most people are familiar with the Nativity depicting Mary, Joseph and newborn baby Jesus in a manger. Many of us visit live Nativities, where we drive our cars by a scene full of live animals and people depicting the babe lying in a manger. Do you ever wonder what it would be like to be there in the city and experience Bethlehem on the night Jesus was born?
Wonder no more! This Dec. 12, 13 and 14, Hillcrest Baptist Church at 380 Dover Road is excited to present The Bethlehem Experience. From 6-8 p.m. each night, they will host this unique and free event. You will be able to park your car and walk through the gates of the city, immersing yourself in the city of Bethlehem. You will be able to mingle with citizens of the city as they go about their day.
Come experience what Bethlehem might have been like during that time, but most especially experience the glorious night Christ took on flesh to dwell among us. This event is completely free for everyone. Buses welcome.
