Looking for a Christ-centered education that lays the foundation for a lifetime? Heritage Christian Academy has been shaping young minds for more than 30 years, serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade with a focus on academic excellence based on biblical principles.
Families are invited to see that mission in action during the school’s open house March 5 at 5 p.m., where parents and students can learn how Heritage helps children grow in knowledge, character and faith in a Gospel-centered environment.
Academic focus shows in scholarships
Heritage Christian Academy’s academic outcomes reflect that commitment. Students score in the 70th percentile in reading and the 67th percentile in math, and every student pursues an honors-level diploma under the Kentucky Department of Education. Located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, the school is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and Cognia.
Class sizes are designed to support strong relationships between teachers and students, with elementary homerooms averaging 20 students and slightly larger classes in middle and high school. Advanced Placement and dual-credit college classes are available, giving students the opportunity to earn college credit and prepare for the next step in their education.
That preparation shows in scholarship results, with high school seniors collectively receiving more than $700,000 in scholarship money each year.

Spiritual, social, athletic growth of students
Beyond the classroom, Heritage offers a full slate of athletic opportunities through the Kentucky High School Athletic Association, including soccer, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, baseball, softball, cross country, bowling, tennis, track and field, and golf. The school also has a strong performing arts department, highlighted by a competitive show choir and high-quality drama productions each year.
Spiritual growth is woven into daily life on campus. Students participate in daily Bible instruction and weekly chapel services. Middle and high school chapel is led by a student praise band, creating a worship environment led by peers and grounded in biblical truth.
Students can also take part in academic and service-oriented clubs, along with overseas missions opportunities that encourage them to live out their faith in practical ways. An active Parent-Teacher Fellowship supports the needs of the school and helps build a close-knit community among families and staff.
