Helen L. Burton, age 80 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Tennova Healthcare.
Helen was born on December 31, 1941 in Beaver Falls, PA to the late David Kirkland and Hazel Boston Kirkland.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Hazel L. Burton; brothers, Douglas Frazier, David Kirkland, Jr.; sisters, Marva Allen, Blanche Scott and Thomasine Nelson.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Burton; daughter, Jovette Burton Lee; brothers: Herman Kirkland, Nathaniel (Jill) Nugin, James (Erlene) Kirkland, Chester Nugin, Joseph Kirkland, Howard Nelson Boston, Robert Kirkland; sisters: Dorothy L. Nugin, Marie Brooks, Jacqueline (Kenneth) Moutrie, Sidney Perminter, Joyce Martin; grandchildren: Devin Burton, Keshia Lee, Jonathan Lee, Kevin Burton, Jr.; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she was loved by.
Helen loved her Remnant of Faith Church Family and will be missed by all.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Pastors Bernetta and Alphonse Prather officiating.
