Helen Amelia Sirbik Folsom, age 89, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Helen was born in Lynn, MA, to the late Kastan Sirbik and Mary Podell Sirbik. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Allan Folsom.
Mrs. Folsom was a cytologist at Salem Hospital and was a member of the Red Hat Society in both Tennessee and Massachusetts.
Memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 3 at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Saturday, January 3, at the funeral home.
Helen is survived by her son, Eric Folsom of Kingston, ON; two daughters, Andrea Smith of Essex Junction, VT and Leslie (Thomas) Nelson of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2000 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203.
