MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – Intense heat returns this week with heat index values as high as 105 degrees through Wednesday.
The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a special heat advisory for Montgomery County through Tuesday at 7 p.m. The conmbination of hot temperatures and high humidity will bring dangerous heat.
NWS urges the public to guard against heat hazards by staying indoors as much as possible and drinking plenty of water. Do not leave children or pets in vehicles.

Overnight lows will remain in the 70s.
In addition to the heat, thunderstorms are possible Tuesday and Wednesday in Middle Tennessee.
