Hattie Mae Perry Tinsley, 83, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Spring Meadows Healthcare.

Hattie was born on September 17, 1932, in Montgomery County, TN, to the late Walter William Perry and Willie Reddick Perry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Norris “Square Daddy” Junior Tinsley and son, James Rittenberry.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will be in Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015, from 2:00-7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 6, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Hattie was a member of Little Hope Baptist Church.

Hattie is survived by two sons, Billy Rittenberry (Deanna) of Clarksville, TN and Carl Tinsley (Misty) of Sweet Water, TN; four daughters, Ernestine Pursley (Ricky R.) of Ashland City, TN, Betty Wall (Wayne) of Cunningham, TN, Wanda Greene (James) of Cumberland Furnace, TN, and Carla Johnson (John) of Clarksville, TN; twenty-eight grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Brittney McDonald, Kimberlee Simpkins, Terri Wall, Teresa Simpkins, Carl Tinsley, Matthew Simpkins, Joseph Houle, and Meredith Rone.
