CSM (Ret.) Haskell Robin Bell, age 94, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Clarksville, TN.
Haskell was born on November 10, 1927 in Gastonia, NC to the late C.C Bell and Catherine Bell. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Elisabeth Zeck Bell. He is survived by his children: Karl R. Bell (Clarksville), Peggy (Tim) McDonald (Cross Plains), John C. Bell (Springfield); grandchildren: Jessica (Jake) Milburn (Portland), Jason McDonald (Nashville) and great grandchildren, Andrea Brooks and Koen Redmond and several nieces and nephews.
Haskell was a Vietnam Veteran, serving 27 years in the U.S Army, retiring as a Command Sergeant Major. The family wishes to thank the Tennessee State Veterans Home for compassion and care.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with full Military Honors.
In lieu of Flowers, memorial contribution may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Clarksville Human Society, 940 Tennessee Ave. Clarksville, TN 37040.
