Harry Robert Cannaday, Jr., age 90, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Fieldstone Place.
Harry was born April 26, 1925 in Franzen, WI, to the late Harry Dale Cannaday and Dora Paulin Dobbe Cannaday.
Mr. Cannaday was retired from the US Marine Corps. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 18 at Trinity Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Dorothy Hartzog officiating. A “Meet and Greet” will be held immediately following the service, at the church, where friends are invited to visit with the family.
Harry is survived by his wife, Hilda Cannaday; two sons, Bobby (Ann) Cannaday of Dacula, GA and David (Freda) Davis of North Carolina; sister, Pauline; two grandchildren, Kimberly Cannaday and Pamela (Rodney) Garrett; and two great-grandchildren, Julianna and Meredith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
