Brandon Springs, Land Between the Lakes – Brandon Springs at Land Between the Lakes is filled with a whole lot of happy faces this week as 33 youngsters take in all the excitement of Camp Rainbow. For over 30 years, Camp Rainbow has been a special place for children who are terminally or critically ill and aren’t able to go to a typical camp.

Every young camper has a personal counselor and a full staff of volunteers is also on hand including doctors and nurses to make sure all of the kids medical needs are taken care of 24-hours a day. Other volunteers make sure the children have time for all of the many activities such as swimming, fishing, canoeing, arts and crafts, and lots of just plain old having fun.

Many of the Camp Rainbow volunteers are members of Bikers Who Care (BWC), a local motorcycle organization that helps raise money each year for Camp Rainbow. The Beaver 100.3 FM also holds a Radiothon each year to support the amazing work of Camp Rainbow.
