NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Hankook Tire will mark the grand opening of its Clarksville plant and first U.S. manufacturing facility Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 2950 International Blvd.

Grand opening activities, which are by invitation only will begin at 9 a.m. with a news conference with Gov. Bill Haslam, ECD Commissioner Bob Rolfe, Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan, Hankook’s Global CEO Seung Hwa Suh and American Headquarters President Hosung Suh.

Following the news conference, there will be a ceremony and ribbon-cutting, including remarks from Haslam, U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, Rolfe, McMillan and Korean Consul General Seong-Jin Kim. Tours of the plant will also be available, but cameras are not allowed in the production facility.
