CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksvillenow.com A section of State Route 237 (Rossview Road), was designated as Hankook Road as the sign was unveiled Tuesday in Montgomery County. The roadway begins at the entrance/exit turnouts of the west side of Exit 8 from I-24 to the Rollow Lane intersection.
Rocky Yoon, Hankook Managing Director/President, talked about the roadway. “I’m so happy to have this kind of wide road I really appreciate the city mayor and county mayor and all of the IDB (Industrial Development Board). It will make it possible to hire our employees for our jobs. I really appreciate everyone’s support very much,” said Yoon.
The Hankook Tire $800 million plant is expected to employ around 1,800 people in Clarksville. Hankook Tire is hosting a job fair Wednesday, July 13 at Fort Campbell.
