Clarksville, Tenn. – The Young Professionals Network (YPN) of the Clarksville Association of Realtors (CAR) will host the second Handbags for Hope charity event, benefiting Urban Ministries’ The SafeHouse, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 15.
Handbags for Hope will be held at the Riverview Inn located at 50 College Street. The event is open to the public and tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 1. Tickets are $40 per person. Over 250 new and gently used handbags will be available for silent auction and 15 themed new handbags will be live auctioned. Live auction bag themes include Weekend Getaway, Chocolate Lover, Fitness, Cocktails & Wine and 11 others.
“The YPN is so excited to be hosting this event for a second year. Last year was our inaugural event and we were fortunate enough to raise over $22,000 for our friends at The SafeHouse. We hope to make an even bigger difference in the lives of the families that benefit from The SafeHouse this year,” said CAR YPN Chairman, Melissa Powers.
Luther Ramsey of Tennessee Title Services is donating his time as emcee and auctioneer again this year. Event photography and a Photo Booth will again be donated by Barlow Girls Photography.
Sponsorship of several themed handbags is still available, as well as Gold & Silver Purse Sponsorships.
