CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County is partnering with Urban Ministries of Clarksville to collect food or monetary donations to help provide Thanksgiving Holiday Meal Boxes for families in need in our community.
Those who are interested in helping can donate uncooked turkeys, hams, or nonperishable side items.
Donations can be dropped off at the following times and locations:
· Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and noon at the Urban Ministries office located at 217 S. 3rd Street
· Monday through Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Habitat ReStore at 404 Madison St.
Monetary donations will also be accepted online here.
The Meal Boxes will be distributed to lower-income families in need of assistance this holiday season.
Distribution
The distribution will be held Monday, Nov. 26, Tuesday, Nov. 27, and Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Urban Ministries office from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day. Boxes will be given out on a first come, first served basis. Please bring a photo ID, verification of income for the past four weeks, and proof of monthly expenses to receive a box.
