CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The ESPN Clarksville Culver’s athlete of the week is Northeast High School senior slot receiver Gus Antione. In the Eagles week six win over West Creek, Antione had 11 catches for 326 yards and 4 TDs, which is a school record and second highest in TSSAA single game history.
“Gus had a tremendous effort Friday night. It was the best single game performance I have seen by a player since I have been coaching.” said head coach Chad Watson. “We need Gus to continue to work hard and he is going to play a big role in our success moving forward,” Watson said.
