Update, 9:40 a.m. Saturday: Police detectives have arrested and charged 27-year-old Arnell Wilson and his father, 54-year-old David Wilson, both of Clarksville, with five separate counts of aggravated assault, Beaubien said.
They both fired a weapon toward a group of people, police said. Two people were grazed by bullets but didn’t need medical treatment.
Update: Late Friday night, police took two suspects into custody. They obtained a search warrant for the apartment the suspects fled to after the shooting.
Two people had minor injuries in the shooting.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police are responding to reports of heavy gunfire at an apartment complex in south Clarksville.
At about 3:33 p.m., the Clarksville Police Department received a 911 call about a shooting at the Cumberland Manor Apartments, according to Officer Scott Beaubien.
“Several officers are on scene and residents are asked to stay inside their apartments until the situation can be resolved,” Beaubien said. “Officers have a perimeter set up and are working to locate the suspect(s). It is unknown at this time how many victims there are, however, there have been no reports of injuries that are considered life-threatening.”
Witnesses reported on the Clarksville-Montgomery County CrimeWatch Facebook group hearing eight to 10 rapid-fire gunshots, then seeing a large police, fire and EMS response within minutes. Witnesses also reported two people being grazed by gunfire.
Cumberland Manor Apartments is on Riverwood Place, off Ashland City Road near Cumberland Drive.
Citizens are asked to avoid the area, and anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
