Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year, and a national group wants to change the holiday so that doesn’t happen again.
The Halloween Costume Association has started a change.org petition to permanently move Halloween from Oct. 31 to the last Saturday of October.
The petition has a goal of 10,000 signatures. As of Friday around noon, about 8,500 people had signed it.
