CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Great American Cookies in Governor’s Square Mall will be raising money for The Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk in Nashville with a cookie fundraiser set up at their table located in the building’s Center Court at 2 p.m., Saturday August 10.
Everyone visiting the table will receive a free piece of cookie cake with a $1 donation to the LLS Walk.
Proceeds will go to help LLS fund cancer research and patient services for those with leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma.
The Leukemia Lymphoma Society has 61 chapters in the United States and Canada, and has already given more than $814 million since 1949, with $76 million coming from the year 2011 alone.
Great American Cookies will also have a table in the mall at 2 p.m. September 15. Their fundraising goal is $2,000.
