CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – ESPN Clarksville joins Bojangles in recognizing Logan Gray as the Bojangles APSU Athlete of the Week from Austin Peay State University. Gray, a junior, plays both the infield and outfield for the Governors baseball team.

For the season, Gray is batting a team-best .384 with nine home runs, despite missing 14 games due to an injury. Against OVC competition, Gray has a slash line of .444/.475/.944 in just 10 games, including RBIs in six consecutive contests.

While playing Easter Kentucky University, he began the series with a 4-for-5, four RBI performance that included two doubles and a home run. He finished the series with a 3-for-5, five RBI performance that saw him hit two home runs and post an RBI in four of his five plate appearances.

Along with his Bojangles Honor, the junior has been named the Addidas/Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Player of the Week and he is one of six players named to the Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week list and received recognition in Baseball America’s weekly “Off the Bat” report.
