CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The annual drive-thru Nativity has returned to Clarksville Grace Church of the Nazarene and continues through the weekend. The family event has shared the story of Christmas in a visual setting for more than 15 years.

Visitors are invited to drive through the church grounds in their vehicles and see scenes with actors in costumes along with live donkeys, goats and other animals. At the beginning of the Nativity, each vehicle will receive a jump drive with a narration of each scene, or it can be found on Facebook and YouTube.

Jason Thorn with Grace Church said more than 100 volunteers take part of the Nativity, which has been done for more than 15 years.

Six scenes depict the life of Jesus Christ. The scenes feature Caesar’s palace, the inn, shepherds in the field, the angels, the manger and the resurrection of Jesus.

At the end, visitors are invited to enjoy Christmas carols sung by the Grace Church choir, sip hot cocoa and snack on cookies.

The Nativity is free and is open Saturday, Dec. 4, from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 5, from 5-8 p.m. at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 3135 Trenton Road.
