CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) Austin Peay’s top receiver Jared Beard has transferred to Kentucky Wesleyan.
He announced he was leaving APSU on Thursday and a day later tweeted “Happy to say I am a panther. Committed to Kentucky Wesleyan! Fit all the things I could ask for.”
Gov’s play by play announcer Brian Rives said of the move “Jared had a conversation with the coaching staff, looking forward to what they were looking for offensively and it looked like playing time was going to be a little more limited.”
