CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – In accordance with Governor Bill Lee’s guidelines, Governor’s Square Mall will reopen to the public beginning Wednesday, April 29.
Normal mall hours are 10 a.m-9 p.m. Monday-Friday and 11 a.m-6 p.m. on Sunday. Patrons are encouraged to call or check online for the hours of specific stores, as some may be different.
“We look forward to welcoming our friends, neighbors, merchants and visitors,” said mall representative Joe Bell. “They can rest assured that extensive steps are in place to make every visit a safe and healthy one. All businesses and patrons are urged to follow the Tennessee Pledge which details the plan for Tennesseans to resume work in a safe environment, restore their livelihoods, and reboot the state’s economy. ”
Employees will be required to wear masks and adhere to CDC guidelines, including social distancing practices. Management said the mall will implement more stringent cleaning standards, particularly in high-touch areas. Visitors will also notice new signage and physical barriers to encourage patrons to practice safe social distancing.
Stores, restaurants, and other businesses operating inside the mall may be opening at a later date or with alterations to their normal hours. Business owners and managers are urged to contact the mall office at 931-552-0289 or marketing@governorssquare.net to discuss reopening procedures.
