CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Gov. Bill Lee brought his campaign bus tour to Dock 17 at The City Forum on Monday.

The Republican governor was greeted by more than 100 local supporters and was joined by Congressman Mark Green, state Sen. Bill Powers, state Rep. Curtis Johnson and Speaker of the House Cameron Sexton. The governor took a few moments to enjoy trips around the go-cart track at The City Forum.

Election Day voting

Election Day is Tuesday for the Tennessee State General and City of Clarksville Election, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at precincts across the county. On the ballot are city mayor, City Council, Congress and state House races, along with a local liquor referendum and a statewide race for governor.

Voting will be done at neighborhood precincts. To see where to vote, look for your precinct location and address on the back of your Voter ID card. To vote, you will have to show your driver’s license or other state or federal photo ID.
