Gov. Haslam to deliver final State of the State address

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam will deliver his last State of the State address Monday at 6 p.m.

He is expected to say more about his plan to combat the opioid epidemic, outline the state budget, and outline the $1.5 billion that has been added to K-12 education during his two terms, resulting in classroom gains for science, math, and English.

Haslam has less than a year remaining in the Governor’s Mansion as he finishes out his second term in office.
