NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Governor Bill Haslam signed a bill on Friday morning that will allow wine and liquor sales on Sunday, according to WKRN.

Beginning this weekend, customers will be able to purchase wine and liquor at liquor stores on Sundays.

Beginning on Jan. 1, 2019, grocery stores will be able to sell win on Sundays. Liquor stores will also be allowed to be open seven days a week under the new measure.

Liquor stores can be opened from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Wine will not be sold on Easter, Thanksgiving or Christmas days. It will be sold on New Year’s Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day.
