CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville welcomed its third Goodwill store in a ribbon cutting Friday, May 29. The new store, at 2001 Needmore Road near the intersection of Tiny Town Road, also features a Career Solutions Center and Drive-Through Donations Area.
Shoppers were lined up outside the store before it opened in anticipation of being some of the first to shop at the newest and largest of the Goodwill stores in the city. The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce also held a ribbon–cutting for Goodwill as a new chamber member.
The store was filled with shoppers after the doors opened. Chris Fletcher, Public Relations & Communications Manager for Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee told Clarksvillenow.com that store personnel passed out over 500 shopping bags for early customers.
Free services offered at the Goodwill Career Solutions Center will include career assessment and evaluation, career counseling and planning, job readiness training, digital literacy, resume writing, online job search, retail training and more.
