CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A kitten was thrown from the window of a moving vehicle this week on Fort Campbell Blvd.
A witness said he was driving near Dodge’s gas station when he saw an individual throw a black kitten out of the driver’s side window of a maroon Ford F-150.
The witness slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting the kitten and got out of his vehicle to save it.
The kitten had crawled under a nearby car in the AutoZone parking lot and three other Good Samaritans helped the man retrieve it from under the car.
AutoZone supplied a box to put the kitten in, and a bystander provided a sweatshirt to wrap the kitten in.
The kitten was taken to Montgomery County Animal Control, then to a veterinary hospital for treatment.
