CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Two Rivers Company (TRC) of Clarksville has announced that Golly G’s will serve as the onsite vendor for the Downtown Commons.
Golly G’s has signed a two-year lease to serve ice cream and other items from the concession stand near the Downtown Commons stage area.
“We are excited that Golly G’s has selected the Downtown Commons Concession Stand for their third location. They will be a great asset to the popular venue. I am thankful for everyone who was involved in making this happen,” Norman Quirion, Two Rivers Company Executive Director said in a press release from TRC.
The lease agreement starts October 15 and the site is expected to start serving food and drinks by mid-November.
Golly G’s specializes in ice cream and baked goods. The site at the concession stand will have more limited options in comparison to the larger sites, but they will have many of the same items found in their other locations.
“In considering another site in Clarksville, the Downtown Commons location was an easy pick. We can see the growth and renewed interest in Downtown Clarksville and we wanted to be a part of that. We are excited to join the other great eateries in the downtown area,” said local Golly G’s owner Joey Boykin.
“The addition of Golly G’s is just one more great reason for people to visit the downtown area. We already have fantastic restaurants and unique stores downtown for residents and visitors to enjoy. The lease investment from Golly G’s at the Downtown Commons adds to the value, fun and good eats for Downtown Clarksville,” Montgomery County Jim Durrett said.
